Alex first gained hands-on experience in construction within a family building firm, which evolved into solving the technicalities of building using different materials and eventually into design, where he now enjoys contributing to quality architecture as a Chartered Engineer.

Alex has been working as a consultant engineer for 15 years, firstly at Thomasons and AKT II, before moving on to Heyne Tillett Steel and eventually setting out as M&P.

Najib has over 20yrs experience, most recently spending over 10 years at Heyne Tillett Steel, before merging with Alex to grow M&P.

Najib’s experience includes residential, commercial and educational buildings where his engineering problem solving skills have been particularly valuable in resolving highly complex structural issues.

Najib enjoys the challenge of working with leading architects and finding the best solution appropriate to both the building and the Clients’ needs.
